Psalms 120

David prayeth against Doeg,

Psalms 120:1 {A song of degrees.} In my distresse I cried vnto the LORD: and hee heard me. Psalms 120:2 Deliuer my soule, O LORD, from lying lips: [and] from a deceitfull tongue.

reproveth his tongue,

Psalms 120:3 What shall be giuen vnto thee? or what shalbe done vnto thee, thou false tongue? Psalms 120:4 Sharpe arrowes of the mightie: with coales of iuniper.

complaineth of his necessary conversation with the wicked.

Psalms 120:5 Woe is me, that I soiourne in Mesech: that I dwell in the tents of Kedar. Psalms 120:6 My soule hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. Psalms 120:7 I [am for] peace: but when I speak, they [are] for warre.
