Psalms 113

An exhortation to praise God for his excellency,

Psalms 113:1 {Prayse the Lorde.} Prayse the Lord (ye seruauntes) O prayse the name of the Lorde. Psalms 113:2 Blessed be the name of the Lorde, from thys tyme forth for euermore. Psalms 113:3 The Lordes name is praysed, from the risyng vp of the Sunne vnto the goynge downe of the same. Psalms 113:4 The Lord is hye aboue all Heathen, and his glory aboue þe heauens. Psalms 113:5 Who is lyke vnto the Lorde oure God, þt hath hys dwellyng so hye,

for his mercy.

Psalms 113:6 & yet humbleth him self, to behold the thynges that are in heauen & earth? Psalms 113:7 He taketh vp the simple out of þe dust, and lyfteth the poore out of the myre. Psalms 113:8 That he maye sett him with the princes, euen with the prynces of his people. Psalms 113:9 He maketh the baren woman to kepe house, and to be a ioyfull mother of children. Prayse the Lorde.
