Psalms 130

The psalmist professeth his hope in prayer,

Psalms 130:1 {The song of the steares.} Ovt of the depe cal I vnto þe O Lord, Psalms 130:2 Lord heare my voice Oh let thyne eares consider wel the voice of my complaint Psalms 130:3 If thou Lorde wylte be extreme to marke what is done amysse. Oh Lord who may abide it? Psalms 130:4 But ther is mercy wyth the, that thou maiest be feared.

and his patience in hope.

Psalms 130:5 I loke for the Lord, my soule doth wayte for hym, and in his word is my trust. Psalms 130:6 My soule doth paciently abide the Lorde from the one morning to the other.

He exhorteth Israel to hope in God.

Psalms 130:7 Let Israel trust in the Lord, for wyth the Lorde there is mercy and plenteouse redempcyon. Psalms 130:8 And he shal redeme Israel from al his synnes.
