Psalms 84

The prophet longing for the communion of the sanctuary,

Psalms 84:1 {Vpon Githith, a Psalm of the sonnes of Corah.} O howe amiable are thy dwellinges, thou Lord of hoostes? Psalms 84:2 My soule hath a desyre & longing for the court of the Lord, my hert and my fleshe reioyse in the lyuyng God. Psalms 84:3 For the sparow hath founde her an house and the swalow a nest, where she maye laye her yonge: euen thy aulters O Lorde of hostes, my kynge and my God.

sheweth how blessed they are that dwell therein.

Psalms 84:4 O how blessed are they that dwell in thy house, they are all way praysing the. Selah. Psalms 84:5 Blessed are the men whose strengthe is in the, in whose herte are thy wayes. Psalms 84:6 Which goinge thorow the vale of misery vse it for a well, and the poles are filled with water. Psalms 84:8 O Lord God of hostes, heare my prayer: herken O God of Iacob. Psalms 84:9 Beholde O God our defence, loke vpon the face of thyne anoynted. Psalms 84:10 For one daye in thy courte is better then a thousande. I had rather be a dore keper in the house of my God, then to dwell in the tentes of the vngodly. Psalms 84:11 For the Lord God is a light and defence, the Lorde wyll geue grace and worshyppe, and no good thynge shall he wytholde from them that lyue a godly lyfe.
