Of the money that Micah first stole, then restored, his mother maketh images,
Judges 17:1 And there was a man of the hill country of Ephraim, whose, name, was Micah. Judges 17:2 And he said unto his motherThe eleven hundred pieces of silver that were taken by thee, when, thou, didst utter a curse, and didst also say in my hearing, Lo! the silver, is with me! I took it. Then said his mother, Blessed, be my son by Yahweh. Judges 17:3 And, when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother saidI had, hallowed, the silver unto Yahweh out of mine own hand, for my son, to make a graved (molten) image, now, therefore, I will restore it unto thee. Judges 17:4 But he restored the silver to his mother,so his mother took two hundred pieces of silver, and gave it to the silversmith, who made thereof a graved (molten) image, and it was in the house of Micah.
